The white paper provides a cultural and historical context for a better understanding of Black literacy and educational excellence, how it was disrupted and how it can be restored.

RJN! partners with and organizes across generations of impacted youth, parents, and communities to build and wield peoplepower at the grassroots to advance human rights by challenging systemic anti-Black racism, the criminalization of Black families, and discriminatory policies in education and beyond.

We strategically use our voices, our influence, and our resources to engage Black and Brown communities and to advocate for public policy changes at the local, state, and federal levels.
